New Rich Report vs Earth Friendly Biz
As anyone who has looked at these pages … or been actively involved with me in online business … has realized, I use more than one system to build my lists online. Some have questioned me about this, and I wanted to take this opportunity today to address it here.
>>> “If you like this one system, how can you use another as well?”
>>> “Doesn’t using two or more systems dilute your effectiveness?”
>>> “Doesn’t the use of more than one system confuse your downlines?”
These are just three of the questions I’ve received about this … and they’re all good ones. Let’s address them all, but I want to make an introductory remark first:
The truth about systems is simple. We’ve all heard it said that it really isn’t you or your product or opportunity that convinces someone to join you or buy from you … it’s the SYSTEM you use to promote your business. That is true … to a point. No matter what system you use to build your lists and market online, there is another ingredient that’s vital: Follow-up. Following up with your prospects is a major key to success online. How you do that is a topic for another discussion, but I wanted to make it clear from the outset that an online marketing system will do so much … but then the rest is dependent on YOU.
That said, what else does a system do for you?
A good online marketing system is first and formost designed to build your list of contacts. That is the single most important aspect of online business … the more people are on your mailing list the more people you can talk to about your product or opportunity … the more people you talk to, the more positive responses you’ll get. So … first and foremost … building your list.
The second most important thing a good online marketing system will do for you is to create “Duplication”. A good system will contain comprehensive training so that your partners or downlines will receive their training there … meaning you won’t have to personally train everybody else … and they will end up doing what you do to be successful.
Make sense?
Now, let’s state this one further item:
There are a LOT of good systems out there … and ALL of the good systems work!
That’s right! Any system that is put together well, with a good lead capture page, good training, and an automated follow up system is going to work just fine. The fact is that most of them are put together in the same way … usually what’s known as a “Funded Sponsoring System” or a “Funded Sponsoring Franchise System”. The only thing REQUIRED to make a good system work is simple: you need to use it and put it into ACTION!
If you simply read the instructions again and again … and comtemplate what they might mean … NO system will work for you, no matter how good it is.
If, however, you dive into the instructions in a good system … and PUT THEM INTO ACTION … ANY good system will build your prospect list, engender duplication, and build your business!
Now … let’s move on to the questions I listed at the beginning of this article.
“IF YOU USE THIS ONE SYSTEM, HOW CAN YOU USE ANOTHER AS WELL?”
The fact is that the one major difference between ALL good systems will usually be the approach used on the “sale page” or “capture page”. Different approaches work well with different groups of people.
For instance, the two system I use … The New Rich Report and Earth Friendly Biz systems … have markedly different approaches on the capture page.
New Rich Report is pretty “high-powered” and “in your face”. It appeals to people who are not intimidated by challenges or confrontational approaches. It appeals to people who are ALREADY working online and looking for a way to do that better. However, this system can be fairly intimidating to a “newbie” who is just starting out.
Earth Friendly Biz, on the other hand, is much less confrontational, more laid back, and emphasizes a “family feel” of folks who will work with you closely to “figure this whole thing out” and help the “newbie” learn how to make money from home on the Internet.
So … considering the approaches are so much different here … and the fact that basically the two systems do the same things … why WOULDN’T I use both? The fact is that I look for prospects in many different places online. I visit business networking sites, I mail to safelists and list-builders … those are places where I might be inclinded to use NRR as many of the people I’m communicating with are already marketing. At the same time, if I’m in a forum for “work at home Mom’s” … I’d be more inclined to use EFB. It just fits better.
Additionally … I can use BOTH at once! If I’m in FaceBook, for instance, what’s wrong with a PS in a message that states: “Here are the two systems I use to build my business … which one do you like best?” … and then provides BOTH links!
“DOESN’T USING TWO OR MORE SYSTEMS AT ONCE DILUTE YOUR EFFECTIVENESS?”
The simple answer here is NO. In fact, it probably enhances it if you do it correctly.
If I use ONLY NRR, I will probably miss folks who might be attracted by EFB. If I use only EFB, I miss the chance of adding people to my lists that would be attracted by NRR. The fact is that my list is growing … no matter WHERE my list is growing. Don’t be hung up with the desire to have your list all in one place … you will NEVER achieve that. I have MANY lists in MANY different systems … from NRR and EFB to Traffic Oasis and lists that are still very active I built in PayItForward4Profits YEARS ago! Your list is your list … the important thing is to build it CONTINUALLY and ANYWHERE YOU CAN.
“DOESN’T THE USE OF MORE THAN ONE SYSTEM CONFUSE YOUR DOWNLINES?”
The answer here, again, is NO … not if they will take the time to read this blog post. Seriously, if you will simply take the time to explain these concepts to your downlines, there shouldn’t be any confusion. A system is just a tool. When I want to tighten a screw I use a screwdriver. I have many screwdrivers. I will choose the one that works best for the type of screw I want to tighten (see the previous questions) and works best within the physical confines of where I need to do the job … but it’s still just a screwdriver! Nothing has changed!
If you explain to your downlines that different systems are just different tools … each with a somewhat different style but the same goal … most people will understand what you’re saying and confusion will not be a problem.
So … that’s it!
Yes … I use several different systems online. I’m not a “slave” to any one of them and ALL of the ones I use work extremely well. If you’re a Member of New Rich Report and want to check out Earth Friendly Biz … or vice versa … you can find the links in the blog sidebar.
Don’t be afraid of “widening your horizons” a bit. Sometimes a bit of diversification can make a world of difference.
